WAMMCO International is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, visitors and other persons legally on the Katanning processing plant site. Resources will be made available to comply with appropriate statutes, Standards and any other appropriate information that becomes available for the purposes of Occupational Safety and Health.

WAMMCO International will continue to promote hazard identification, control and review as an integral part of the daily operations of the Katanning plant. Safety and Health is a responsibility shared by all persons on the WAMMCO International Katanning plant site. Acceptance of certain responsibilities is essential to the overall success of this policy.

Management 

• Will continue to develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive Safety Management System.
• Promote and communicate health and safety as a normal part of the daily task of all people at the Katanning site
• Take appropriate action where required to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all people at the Katanning site

Employees 

• Share the responsibility to work in a safe manner
• Encourage others to work in a safe manner
• Co-operate with WAMMCO International management in consultation, promotion and operation of occupational safety and health initiatives
• Report or rectify unsafe conditions or actions that come to their attention during the working day
