In December 2016 WAMMCO Chief Executive Coll MacRury announced details of the new Producer of the Month Award.
The award is based on minimum drafts of 100 lambs delivered in each calendar month with each winner determined by the highest percentage of carcases meeting WAMMCO’s carcase sweet spot category (18.1-28kg HSCW, fat scores 2-3) compared to their consignment totals.
